AI Transparency
GCSESpark uses AI to generate explanations and practice support. This page explains how AI is used and its limitations.
1. What the AI does
- Generates explanations, worked examples, hints, and practice questions.
- Adapts responses to your selected subject/topics and your inputs.
- May summarise prior session context to continue learning support.
2. Important limitations
- AI outputs can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading.
- Always verify facts with trusted sources and your teachers.
- Do not rely on the service for safety-critical, medical, or legal decisions.
3. Academic integrity
Use GCSESpark as a learning tool. Do not submit AI-generated answers as your own assessed work. Follow your school's academic integrity rules and any exam board guidance.
4. Personal data and safety
Avoid entering special category data or highly sensitive personal details unless necessary. See our Privacy Notice.
